This Dewaxed White Shellac from U-Beaut is used in the same way you would use and other variety of shellac. The major difference with this product and other shellacs is that it is a bit harder, shines a bit brighter and is completely free from wax. Also, it will not change the natural, wet colour of wood.
Due to the fact it has been bleached, it has a particular characteristic that helps to set it apart from most of the other shellacs. This polish will not darken the colour of timber any more than putting water on it would. This makes it perfect for use on white woods where discolouring of the timber is not wanted. It's brilliant on most other timber colours as well as it will not hide or darken the grain in the slightest way, but will instead enhance the timber's natural beauty.
This shellac is also suitable for application over brightly dyed or stained timbers and is fantastic for use in decorative finishes where a clear glaze is required.
