40L Resin Casting Pressure Tank SS Liner - Spray Centre
The best way for you to make top quality resin castings is to do so under pressure. Pressure casting allows you to compress air bubbles to such small sizes that they become really difficult to detect by eye, thus creating a visually bubble free casting.
Simply cast your piece in a mould, insert the mould into the pressure pot, apply positive air pressure from a regulated compressor and leave your resin to cure under that pressure.
These high quality tanks from Spray Centre are designed for casting only and cannot be used for paint. Unused outlets are permanently capped with 150psi, 316 stainless steel caps.
Internal Dimensions: Height 54cm, Diameter 32cm.
60 Psi maximum working pressure.
The maximum working pressure is governed by a mechanical safety valve. It is recommended good working practice to use at a working pressure of 60 psi or below.
No pressure tank is 100% airtight. Whilst in use, the tank must be connected to an air supply to ensure the slight air loss is balanced out.
