This Tripoli Powder from U-Beaut is a super fine abrasive powder used to impart a brilliant sheen to the final finish of a French polish and many other finishes. Use it over U-Beaut Shellawax or Shellawax Cream to give a dryer shine to the finish. It can also be used prior to applying a finish.
Tripoli Powder can be used over almost any finish with surprising results! Use on woodturning projects prior to applying Shellawax for a brilliant finish. Use on your woodturning after applying Shellawax to give a brilliant dry shine. Use over French polish for a brilliant blemish free sheen. You can even use it to dull a finish by dusting it over your project and then rubbing with medium pressure with a clean soft rag or your hand until you are happy with the finish.
Top Tip: You can make a slurry of paraffin oil and Tripoli Powder and use this as a liquid abrasive.
